Most perfect week at home.

I went home from university on Wednesday and seriously, I've had the nicest time.

When my train got in on Wednesday me and my mum went for a coffee and perused Waterstone's for about an hour. We looked around some clothes shops, but didn't buy anything. (Well, mum got a t-shirt. So it was me that didn't buy anything). Then, later on, I went to see John and we shared a chinese, watched some TV then watched The Lion King in bed. It was so nice. I got my Valentine's present of a new Links of London charm for my bracelet. Even though I told him not to buy me one because they're really expensive.

Thursday, mum and me went shopping in Sheffield. All I got were some false nails. I wanted a dress, but the shops never had what I wanted. We did have a really nice lunch though. I love spending time with my mum. All we do is rant to each other, but it's nice to have someone to rant to about absolutely everything.

Friday I got another present, a huge bunch of flowers. So perfect, red roses and the whole shaban. It was also. John's boss' retirement party. I thought I was going to hate it, but it wasn't too bad. It was a free bar and the buffet was immense. Yes, that is how I judge parties. Then we stopped in a Travelodge instead of going back to John's. Might not have been the nicest hotel, but it was so nice to be able to go to bed with John and wake up with him.

Then, on Saturday, John treated me to a meal in a local restaurant. It was Silver Service and the food was perfect. We came back and watched Castaway snuggled up on the sofa. Lille (John's dog) included in that snuggle. Then we went to bed, watched 20 minutes of Aladdin, before we were both falling asleep. We fell asleep all tangled up in each other. Perfection.

Waking up with him is the best part of my day.

Now, I'm back up in Preston hoping that John is coming back up to see me after his night shift in Bolton. Then we can snuggle up, watch a film and fall asleep. Unless, he doesn't finish until early tomorrow morning. In which case, I might get to spend the day with him.

Hope he's coming back, if not I won't see him for another couple of weeks :(

I've just realised how boring this must be for anyone to read. Apologies.
