Please ignore my face on these photos. I took them at about 12am; therefore, my make up had worn off and I was a little weary.
Anyway, there is the smock. I love anything with a 60s feel to it and I feel that this dress has that feel. I realise it is short and I would more than likely wear leggings or tights with it. I know some of you reading this will, perhaps, think that is boring, but I'm trying to grow in my confidence at wearing more daring things. As I said, it hides the area that I am not most comfortable with showing off: my stomach, and has floaty sleeves which also hide my arms when I'm not feeling too great about those either.
I bought the dress from a Next clearance store at the York Outlet. I was really pleased with this purchase, because I was, at one point, going to pay full price for the dress. So, instead of paying £40 (or maybe more) for the dress I got it for £15! See, every so often it does pay off to look in outlet shops. (I say it like that because I usually hate sales and outlet shops such as TKMaxx). I didn't buy the dress when it was originally in Next, because I wasn't sure as to whether I liked the pattern. However, with a reduced price, I decided that I like the pattern much better with £25 knocked off the price!
Enjoy!
